Power Quality of LED lamps #MEAS #PQ
Background and Problem: Due to the ban on conventional incandescent lamps LED lamps are increasingly used for lighting. The operation of LEDs directly on the network requires voltage rectifiers, which are in turn the cause of undesired harmonics.
Task: In the scope of this work, different commercially available LED lamps are to be analysed according to their effects on the power quality in the network. The focus will be on the generated current harmonics.
